For those who know me, I'm often described as a: Cali cowgirl, country hippie, artistic nerd, with a touch of bruja.
I love to laugh, travel, and fully embrace being a cheesy silly goose. I've been fascinated with rocks, old bottles, skeleton keys, all critters, nature, and of course dragons, for as long as I can remember.
I'm originally from a small country town in Northern California. I grew up working on the family's cattle ranch with my dad while also living all over California with my mom. That mix of grounded, hands-on work and everchanging environments shaped who I am today. Art has always been my outlet, my way of expressing, processing, and connecting.
The breathtaking landscapes and wildlife of the North American West Coast have been my greatest source of inspiration. I come from a very creative and handy family, so I was lucky to grow up surrounded by making, building, experimenting and bringing ideas to life. Throughout my educational career, I took every art class I possibly could. Even then being a full-time artist was never felt like a realistic path, but now it's both my dream and my goal.
It's taken me a long time to get here, but I've always been an artist at heart. Whether I'm designing, painting, photographing, or even landscaping; Creating something meaningful, and sharing it in a way that brings joy or helps someone's vision come to life, is incredibly rewarding to me.
'Babbling' in Babbling Woods is a nod to my goofy, playful side, while 'woods' represents the wild, the thick of the untamed, magical environments. Together it reflects what matters most to me: finding joy in life's small, silly moments, while staying grounded in respect and awe for the natural, wild world around us.
Thank you for considering me for your creations and for your support, it truly means everything.

I’ve always been drawn to the art world. Throughout my schooling career, this love for creativity drove me to try all forms of art classes. Sketching and drawing, watercolor, painting, airbrush, photography, graphic design, ceramics, sculpture, woodshop, furniture restoration, design. I've been described as a highly versatile creative artist.

I use and have used many different mediums throughout my work, such as: oil paints, acrylic, watercolor, clay, charcoal, pastels, colored pencils, wire, wood, stone, yarn, plaster, paper, carboard, ect...

The beautiful world around us and all the creatures in it, including the 'magical' ones, has been my inspiration for some time now. In combination, I also express personal experiences and include my own ideas or feelings in each piece as well. I love to hear the imagined story my work evokes and also like to share the ‘purpose’ or meaning of the piece and see if it resonates with the viewer.
